The Vertical Village Difference
At United for Care, our Vertical Villages give people with disabilities the freedom of their own apartment — and the reassurance of 24/7 onsite support. It’s a new kind of supported living: independent, safe, and connected. Here, every person has choice and privacy, surrounded by care that feels personal.

What Is Vertical Village Living?
Our Vertical Village model combines the comfort of your own apartment with the peace of mind of having professional support nearby.
- Choice and privacy – your own apartment, your own space.
- Support on hand – a 24/7 onsite team you know and trust.
- Connected living – near shops, transport, and community life.
It’s a model designed for independence and belonging — everything you need, all in one place.
Why It’s Different
Every Vertical Village runs on a strong, structured model that blends clinical oversight with hands-on care. Each site has a dedicated leadership team:
- Senior Operations Managers
- Service Leaders
- Senior Support Workers
- Support Workers
Our clinical team works alongside families, support coordinators, and onsite teams from the start — ensuring every plan is safe, effective, and personcentred.
And behind every site is our Central Support Office, with experts in operations, compliance, and training, so onsite teams can focus on what matters most: care.

Real Care, Real Expertise
Our clinical approach is what makes the Vertical Village model unique. It’s not just a process — it’s a partnership. We consider each person’s:
- Health
- Routines
- Sensory preferences
- Communication style
To build a support plan that fits them — not a template. From triage through transition, our clinical team stays involved — reviewing progress and supporting onsite teams to deliver care that evolves with each participant. That’s how we make sure every person feels confident, safe, and understood.
Stories of Change

Beyond the Village
Our work doesnt stop at Vertical Villages, we understand each person has indvidual needs and one size does not
fit all. Which is why we offer a range of options and services including:
- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Shared Homes
- In Home Care
- Rise Up community programs
All built on the same foundation: a clinically informed, people-first approach that helps every person live with freedom, dignity, and connection.
